What is Bloom?

An innovative shoe solution made with recycled algae biomass, Rise by Bloom is designed to replace a percentage of the plastic polymer typically used to make conventional EVA shoes. The Bloom process simultaneously cleanses our lakes and freshwater ecosystems of excessive algal growth, turning the unwanted excess into an environmentally friendly product. The same manufacturing process locks in CO2 and purifies 50 cubic meters (50 m3) of air for a cleaner, healthier ecosystem.
